Hmm... I might just use this, if you don't mind. Might be a little while before it's posted, though, I can only get on at certain times of day.

I'll send/comment a link when it's done?

That's fine by me, I'd love to see it when/if you finish though :)

Alright, my current version is here ([link]) but I'm planning on making some alterations to the costume, as the character in my drawing is a little... homicidal. He's from a comic called 'Johnny the Homicidal Maniac', and one of my watchers agrees that he should look creepier than what I've done.

Awe look. He's cute. I agree that he may need to be creepier, but that's awesome none-the-less!

Hi,

I'm writing an ebook with a playing card theme. If I use this I will of course credit and send you a link. Interesting that you used the joker not the king in the hand of cards.

Stephen

For use outside deviant art I would very much appreciate the credit, as this comes from a series that is copywritten (though this was a write-off, which is why it's stock) and the model would love to see as well, so please remember to send us a link if you do use it :)

And yes, the joker, hehe. It was used in a series, as I said, :D Interesting that you noticed.

Many thanks. Will email details if used and when ebook finished.

And I noticed because it's the sort of thing I notice :) and it makes for a rather neat twist to the picture. All is not as it seems and that hand as being held is not as powerful as at first glance seems :)

I wonder if that is where you were going when you did it.

Very interesting stuff.

Regards

Stephen

I like to do a lot of subtle things that most people glance over when I set up shots like this one.
Most people, they would go over it and say, ah, stock of some guy, where's the finished thing - I need cards for whatever it is I'm doing, wonder if they have some card closeups - meh, probably not, I'll move along. They don't notice the tiny things like messed up hands :)
I'm glad you did. You're close on what I was going for, too :)
